To check if it was the controller and not the adapter, I played the same game on my Wii and everything worked fine. In Sonic R, when I go to select a character, I can scroll to the right to any of the four available characters, but if I sit there for a minute, it scrolls all the way to the left to the first character. The game I was playing was Sonic Gems Collection, in the menu to choose a game, it would scroll down without me touching the analog stick. It's not constant, it just moves by itself from time to time.
So I recently purchased the Mayflash GameCube adapter since I had a spare GC controller laying around and figured "why not use it with Dolphin"? I got everything set up, but when I play a game, there is movement in game like the analog stick is stuck in one direction.
